(LOL) Lord Of The Lies
aka The Fabulous Fabulist, part of the Liars, Fabulists, Prevaricators and The Like series. These are details of a 14"x17" pen and ink drawing. Click on the preview slides to enlarge. I have fallen in love with detailed pen and ink drawing...oh wait, this is not new. Let us just say that I actually took my time and even stopped to draw something else for Illustration Friday, just so I can keep enjoying this.
Thanks to Bella Sinclair who inspired me to draw little creatures. When I saw Bella's illustration for Space, I was stunned at how she accurately portrayed two friends, one who needs space but seems to have a difficult time escaping the other gesticulating, loquacious friend. I lifted the two and put them in this busy jungle of the Lord of the Lies.

So much packed in your wonderful illustrations.
The detail is amazing.
(And yes, we love your little creatures.)
After Beethoven got started on his NINTH, it took prob 1½ years to complete. Yet, musicologists are, (nearly 300 years later) in their analyzations, finding clues--musical metal twists--validating use of the word genius in reference to Beethoven.
So I suspect it will be that Ces's art, when rediscovered, will keep the "Fine Arts" academe busy for a few centuries...
Examination of your art has already cut into my fewest of sleeping hours with great frequency.
Thank you Ces, for opening a wonderful chapter of appreciation and enjoyment in my life.
PEACE and LIGHT!!!

Omg, the little babies hatching from eggs are SOOO scrumptious!!! And someone please, please save the ones wrapped in spider silk! Man oh man, this would be a jigsaw puzzler's dream! Can you imagine? 1000 pieces, each one with a delicious detail.
Now that's a world I'd enjoy exploring *!*
Oh for heaven's sake. What ARE you talking about. That was like the butt end of a loaf of stale bread compared to the rich, delicious tapestry you put together here. And honey, you can grope me anytime. HA!
I would gladly turn your tapestry into a...well...tapestry. It's too good for a doormat. I'd never walk on it! Seriously. Two words. Jigsaw. Puzzle. I'm sorry about your mouth. But at least now you know. I love you too. Tsup!
WOW!!! I love this one sooooooooo much! It is pure awesomeness!!!!
