Davao City, Philippines. Reported by https://www.facebook.com/chroniclesoflovemindanao: Dried flying lizards poached and sold commercially for traditional medicine to cure "asthma."
I hate to wish anyone bad luck but people who believe this bad medicine just ask for bad karma. This is absolutely disgusting and most abominable.

Never saw a flying lizard. Is this the reason why?
I did go to the link and read some...
Ignorance can be extremely damaging . . . .
Who comes up with all these crazy, wasteful, insane medicinal scams?
Ignorance, indeed!
Rick, this is still rooted on traditional Chinese medicine. There are many Chinese descent Filipinos. Traditional Filipino medicine is rooted on herbs, that is why they are called "herbolario" or "arbolario" meaning herbalist.
Arija, that is so true. Ignorance is more damaging than anything else. It is not bliss, it is dangerous.
Steve, I have seen a few of these in the mountains. At first I thought they were bats because we were near a cave. Many animals are going extinct in the Philippines. The Filipinos are poor and many Chinese smugglers go to Mindanao to poach pangolin, snakes and other animals.
This makes me very angry, so that I don't even care that they are drowning in smog in Beijing.
Didn't I hear that the dried genitalia of poachers cures E.D.? I'd like to see some of those strung up on a rack.
Oh, yes, I agree with Bella. Lizards are one of my favorite creatures. This makes me very sad and angry.
