All things to nothing descend,
Grow old and die and meet their end...
Nor long shall any name resound
Beyond the grave, unless 't be found
In some clerk's book, it is the pen
Gives immortality to men...*
or elephants!!!
okay, I just added this one.

A very special remembrance tribute to my beloved sister Leah, who passed this earthly life a little over a year ago. She loved elephants so much. Not a day passes by without me thinking of her and feeling her love. I love you, forever. Tsup!
Fare thee well!

Nice reveal on your exquisite thundering hoard (or is it herd) of elephants. What a wonderful family work you've created.
And of course . . . I always spread the word on "no ivory." What a senseless, immoral commodity.
Great post.
Ces dearest, both you and I have lost a much beloved sister last year, who was an exceptional human being. Your tribute to your's is incredibly moving and so sad since it portrays them all squashed into a small space, as they are with their habitats narrowing and narrowing until they have nowhere left to go where they can just be ELEPHANTS.
Une douce pensée particulière pour ta chère soeur... du réconfort pour toi.
Tu es incroyable ! Tes éléphants sont aussi incroyables !... Si seulement ils pouvaient écraser les braconniers.
Merveilleux dessin.
gros bisous
A beautiful tribute to your sister Leah, Ces!
Thank you, Rick. I know I am preaching to the choir here. Some things just affect me in profound ways.
Two words about elephant poaching: Greed and ignorance. Yes, My sisters and brothers and I miss our most beloved sister. Something is amiss. Take care my dearest Arija.
My dear Alison, you are the awesome one. You just keep going ang going in a most colorful way! Tsup!
Thank you, Rod.
Beautiful, Ces, you and the work :D Greed, I think it's probably the worst thing about humans.
(Je sais que tu ne souhaites pas de commentaire pour ta dernière publication... mais je voulais que tu saches que tu lui as consacré un très bel hommage à ce père qu'était le tien ! Bisous)
This post is incredibly amazing... and happy birthday to your father, Love!!!!
ps: my dearest dearest dearest Grandewitch i know my posts are so lame lately and i'm being a sensitive bitch, i dont know, i mean, i dont know... i am upset over something and sometimes i'm just tired but i should have listened to you: forget about the judges. Later i will draw something fun or silly or stupid or whatever and forget about the judges. Thank you, bye, love you.
Your elephant piece has a great energy to it, and your tribute piece is just lovely too. I saw your post earlier today about your father, but for some reason there as no comment field. I hope you have a good day with good memories of him :)
Incredible, astounding work! It almost seems like your elephants were carved from stone, a big relief sculpture. Your sister would have held her hand to her heart upon seeing this. Of that, I am sure.
Happy birthday to your beloved father.
Tsup tsup tsup
okay i love you and Deb.
Spectacular. When are you going to have an exhibit? I will try to be there. I cried reading your letter for your father. Namiss ko din ang Tatay ko.
I love the elephant drawings and the way you started with a small black hole and slowly revealed the image. Very powerful. So sorry about losing your sister. I have a sister as well and I cannot imagine being without her! Hugs.
