hello ces,

such an interesting combo of friends
i wonder about the details of their time together

when i looked at this piece, i also wondered if you ever start with a black board and work with white ink?

also i am so fascinated at how each piece, well i can tell it is yours. i guess each artist has a style ... so interesting
and your style is something i enjoy, very much.

I start with white then let my pens bleed... Hahahahaha! I was drawing these guys while I was on several telephone conferences. Sigh. Their names are a combination of many people I have met and known; doctors, colleagues, friends, mathematicians. I was talking to a friend about the holy sect of India, turmeric and lentils. Go figure!

Fabulous, a friendship of opposites. Lots of wonderful ink, I love it and I love the beards.

Ces, I've been to Behance, in fact I think that's the one I signed in. Went everywhere, lookig for your stuff. A Trainload of really fine art in there. Met lots of artist-musicians also. But I never told anyone there what I really think--maybe KNOW this:

When I finally came to some of your work, it is then I realized that IMO you are far in front of those Peeps I had been admiring; in talent, knowledge, life experiences (which really compute here) communication abilities, and imagination--and sore wrist from squiggling! It occurred that you are so VERY gifted. Unlike many Peeps everywhere, you have used--are using--your gifts (and sometimes even enjoying?--grin!)

These two "best friends"--it seems I am acquainted with them...maybe everyone has a best friend who is in some ways opposite in thought. One of these I am meeting right after this morning's 7 AM AA meeting--we will talk at Starbucks for an hour or two as we have EVERY WEEK for many years--staying sober together, learning how to live a little better. Though we disagree in principle on some matters--those are not what matter--grin!

HEY! I gotta go. Sorry I missed you last night. (I am smiling as I write, because I enjoy writing to a friend--YOU!
Later....
PEACE!
Steve

Ces...you are brilliant. I wish I could practice nursing by your side just for day. Bet I would learn tons.

I cannot tell which is the bad guy here...they both look gentle. Gentle Lentils. :)

Sending nursey, artsy hugs.

I want to be the rotton one. That one's life is much more fun.

I'm a little bit country, you're a little bit rock 'n' roll.

Aaaah, swami love! Tsup tsup tsup!!!

Actually very quiet, subtle, reserved and gentle people end up having the most explosive, wonderful, exhilarating, albeit anxiety-filled (sometimes) experience. That expression "I never expected her..." always gets uttered. Hehehehe! Sri loves you swami! Tsup! Tsup! Tsup!

Actually the drawing has nothing to do with the good and the rotten. It was something I felt when I posted this image, so they are the unfortunate recipients of my random thoughts. Hah! Thank you Lisa, I am sure that if we worked together we would have had a blast. Actually there were many blasts, literally, I was a trauma nurse. Hehehe!

Steve, thank you. Although extremely grateful, I do not know how to react to your kind and generous comments. I do not deserve them. The artists I follow at Behance are some of the most talented and prolific fine artists in the world. I do not deserve to clean their palettes and brushes.

Thank you, lovely!

Thank you Debbie.

Hey Ces darling! I am loving all this wonderfulness that you are putting out. It's beautiful work. You asked me why I omitted the O in G-D. It's not because I am afraid to say His wonderful name. I honor the name. I think we use His name why to loosely and without the reverence that it so rightly deserve. I am Torah Observant. Sending you so much love and a big old hug.
Love you,
Tsup, Tsup!

Hi Ces, I thought the same as Tammie at first...these wonderful fellows almost look like scratchboard art. Have you ever used that medium? It'd be interesting to see your work that way, but I love it as it is!

Je ne connais pas ces deux personnes , mais je lis deux mots que j'adore : "Ananda et Bhakthi " .
Comme toujours , vos dessins sont vivants !

I'm LOVING the description, and the illustration, Ces. Oh, those eyes...they tell a story or two, don't they?! Don't most people have both sides to them..I'm sure Adi believes Sri is the rotten one, and vice versa. : ) Sending you a big hello!!! And a happy December to you my friend...hope you are well! Tsup!!

Greetings oh she who never sleeps :) Just wonderous is your work, you know that? Awesome comes to mind but that makes me soyund like a ten year old kid. Your compostions are superb - just the right dash of this and that, but i think it's the subject matter i find so appealing (not appleing - that would be too fruity I think) We could lose ourselves in your textures for days you know - the more you zoom in the more hypnotic you become - it's like that movie where those secintists get shrunked up then injected into someone's blood stream - well it's not really like that all but I thought it was an interesting picture ... :) Writing about your work is like talking with my mouth full. It feels so good but makes little sense to the casual observer whose mouth is only half full ... :) hugs from the land of sand!

Yes you have to watch the quite ones like Bella :)

Ah when I say "makes littole sense to the casual observer" I mean the words coming out of my full mouth - not your images !
