I declare I am done with this series, This was a fun drawing project.  Thank you for keeping me company on this project, The Lesser Known Dumptys. I am afraid I spilled my secret about how I produce these drawings so quickly. You see my little assistants? See above drawing of a poor egg just happily sitting in a hot tub and suddenly someone performs a lobotomy on her?! See those industrious little creatures pouring ink and spreading them on the Bristol Board? What?! You don't believe me?!

Oh the title. Yes. Twenty six. Today The Viking and I celebrate our wedding anniversary. I still remember the night I met him at a  Christmas party 33 years ago. I remember what I was wearing; what we said to each other the first time we met. Some things just stay with you forever. Today however, I received a card with this: "The best thing that can happen to a person is to find real love... And that's why the best thing that ever happened to me was finding you." Isn't that great?  I had the biggest smile on my face. However, he added, "I could not find a funny card." Sigh, what can I do, but just love him.

Also this year, I celebrate my 34th  year as a Registered Nurse. I spent twenty five of those years working for my current company. You know how companies give you anniversary gifts like jewelry, crystals and clocks? Well, I was really tempted to get a circular saw.

One more time, the Lesser Known Dumptys...

Bumpy Dumpty and Jumpy Dumpty

I know i said it would be good if you had an assistant, i did not mean miniature ink people that help you make art. i meant people to help you with your stack of forms that need to be filled out! ;-)

happy wonderful fabulous love to you and yours

love each piece, amazing each dumpty!

I am glad the Viking could not find a 'funny' card (maybe next year--grin!).

I do not recall having nearly so much blog-fun as this trip through the chicken house with you, Ces. Never will I forget the "Lesser Known Dumptys"...NEVER!

Re the Sonata-wielding violinist: Are those two arms behind Humpty trying to steal piggy to join them in the picture? Maybe for a "Ham-and-Egg" party? LOVE the mice and the ants on the wall.

In "Lobotomy Surprise" is that big ant going after the little guy under your pen. What kinda helper is that?

This post opened further my awareness of your creative talents. God (and your parents) passed on to you a gift of unique imagination. Even taking the short list of talents we have been privileged to applaud, when used in combination with some humility...well, it makes for a very VERY special peeps, Ces. YOU!

Your family knows it, your Viking knows it. And your BEST friend "B", family in Philippines, your fellow workers, and us blog-friends know it. (So many of us--I've forgotten what 'IT' is we all know--GRIN!) We are all special, and honored to be a part of your world-wide network.

NOW.....what's next? HAHAHAHAH!
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
Love, PEACE and...
TSUP!

Haha! I can so definitely relate. Happy Anniversary. I think all of us seek our genetic opposite in many ways... it works even when it seems wonky. My sweetie is a total extravert-- I spend countless hours alone in the studio... perhaps there is hope for our offspring.:-)

What a precious thing for your husband to say to you on your anniversary! Ours is coming up real soon, and I haven't yet finished the various etegami I plan to give him that day. It will be my first time to give him an etegami gift! Your "Surprise Lobotomy for Breakfast" Humpty will stick in my mind for the rest of my life, I think. I may never be able to eat a soft-boiled egg again. ;p

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! OMGOMGOMGOMG, I LOVE these! Hahahahaha! Absolute fabulosity. What a grand finale! Oh my, Humpty is quite regal and sophisticated and elegant. I suspect his lesser known cousins were envious and had him done-away-with. See those arms? I believe they are suspiciously slipping a mickey into his wine, thereby causing him to topple over on that wall. Oh wow wow wow, I love all the textured ink. And I want a jacket like that with a CAC badge!

Hehehe, poor Lobotomy Dumpty. Oooh, I LOVE your helpers! I knew you had helpers. Certainly, what you achieve on a daily basis is inhuman. Superhuman. I hope that third little guy isn't squashed for good. Bad Ant. Bad. Tsk tsk.

Happy Anniversary! Twenty-flippin'-six! Wooohooo!

Thank you. That is not a bad ant. That ant is trying to lift the pen to set the man free. :)

This is definitely one of my hugest favorites of all your series, Ces. They are all insanely wonderful! They should be up for exhibition and have strangers oohing and aahing on them. Seriously!

Oh, and happy anniversary to you and the Viking. 33 years, huh? That is MADNESS!! Hahaha...

I suppose if I had to choose, my favorites would be Humptoro D2 and Thinky Dumpty. Humptoro appeals to my mechanically-inclined side; I would just love to disassemble him, make any repairs, replace all his gaskets and seals, tune him up and see if he runs smoother than before. Don't know why I like doing things like that, but I've always been that way. And 'Thinky' just appeals to my thoughtful, introspective side. I'd like to think that the letter is not a dear john, but an exciting job offer that requires a career decision. Don't like them dear johns.

All in all, a very nice Humpty-Show.
