- Which Does Not Really Explain This Illustration. But It Is A Long Story.
- Happy Mother's Day!!!
- Mothers, Do Not Eat Your Young.
Oh Well, Not Your Traditional Happy Mother's Day Greeting! But Just The Same. - 8"x10" Micro Pigment and India Ink on 11"x14" Bristol Board

Whoah, that is one rotten egg alright. As for the other two . . . that equation brings back to many bad memories of college calculus class.
ReplyDeleteFunctions gone wrong, indeed!
Hope you had a peaceful Mother's Day.
I like it when you get edgy Ces!!! This is cool!
ReplyDeleteYou tell a great story with your detailed, intricate illustration and very clever tale. It's kind of disgusting but very intriguing!
ReplyDeleteOh my!!! Where to begin!?!?! You omitted a D word...disturbing!!! Yet funny. Very Ces! I hope you had a lovely Mother's Day. **kisskiss** Deb
ReplyDeleteLOL! This had me rolling on the floor, even though I HAVE NO IDEA what you're saying. I also love all the Ds, since D is close to my heart. :)
ReplyDeleteSheeesh! Sounds like a pretty normal celebration to me--grin! Especially like dopehead's right arm band(s)...ARM? Well, whatever...appendage? Well, not quite LOL!
ReplyDeleteThis rotting piece of, ummmmm, ART, reminds me of those days living in the woods, like Marines in the WWII jungles. But nobody was shooting at ME! (In those woods behind the horse barn--grin!!!)
Ces...thank you for correctly spelling KERNEL! I hate to see Peeps writing the word as COLONEL--grin!
As usual,
this is my favorite blog-place to be...
there's just so much to do and to see...
ANY time!
I just had to laugh! Very imaginative.
ReplyDeleteHehehehehe, I am giggling at your details. Pothead's earrings and Dopehead's lovely tattoos and the hidden beach ball and the fanning cannabis leaves and her ring of rocks. Hahahaha! Quite a lovely bunch, this trio. Aah, nothing beats a mother's love. Your imagination knows no bounds! Tsup!
ReplyDeleteEdgy, fascinating fun! Love that little guy hanging out of her mouth.
ReplyDeleteOooh...that is gruesomely cool... You're right about it not being traditional. But who wants that when you can have this?? Okay, lemme do some math too..one, two, three, four thumbs to your crazy wonderful art! Oops, hang on. Make that five and six...yeah, I have two extra just for you. (^_^) oxox
ReplyDeleteWell, that story was long enough for me. sheeesh! ha ha.
ReplyDeleteAs for that equation, anything above bonehead math and I start to shut down. I took a refresher math course in college, did okay in it, but forgot it all again a year later. That analytical stuff just bores me silly. I do play a mean game of chess though, for some weird reason.
I really like the B monster movie feel of this one, the stuff that nightmares are made of. Very cool. Ever read any H. P. Lovecraft? Good stuff, but not too late at night.
hey i'm home, just got back from Singapore, so good to be here again, thanks for visiting me while i was away, i miss you toooooooooo and Happy Mother's Day!!!!
ReplyDeletebe back later ok!
so hows life?
that is one crazy rotten egg ;) Hope you had a lovely mother's day weekend! Hugs
ReplyDeletethanks for the morning chuckle
ReplyDeleteas for your art, wahoo, the details are amazing... your wit and humor endless
thanks for telling me about the clouds, i had never heard of asperatus. I looked them up and the cloud people are attempting to make that a legit new cloud title.
By The Way I Hate Unpacking
ReplyDeleteMe too. I still have two suitcases I have not unpacked. One from Manila and the other from South Carolina. :)
DeleteAh hahaha, my favorite is the pothead fellow. A very self-important lizard person I am sure! I will say I am not smitten with this particular egg person (fairly sure I'm not supposed to be) but I do love all the patterns in the leaves and grass and stones! As for the equation, if that isn't secret code then I don't even know what.
ReplyDeleteCes, this makes my head hurt! (I was never a good math student!)I'm thinking Mom probably should have waited until AFTER she got some Mother's Day presents before eating her children....just sayin'. Awesome detail! Love the dark, macabre aspect of it!
