Intermission

Whew!!! Weren't you a tad short of breath after that last post? I have to put up something new quickly after that. Thank you for your kind comments and emails. Your tender words publicly and privately are a source of great comfort. Thank you. I am afraid I am impulsive and a procrastinator when it comes to comments and emails. I am still responding to comments left on my blog from four months ago. When I find the time I read past comments and respond to them. Sooner or later, people will hear from me. At least I cleaned my personal inbox during one of my sleepless nights. It had over one hundred non-spam or non-junk unread mail. That's not bad, My work email at one time had over a thousand unread emails after I came back from one week of vacation. I actually wrote new rules to run and sort the emails and was able to clean it up in a week but longer to catch up. Eventually everyone gets a response from me. Those who cannot wait know how to get me. :)

This is Amy Egghouse. I wanted her to be a part of this series but I don't know where to place her. I can't think of a background for her. My children like this drawing. They giggle when they see it especially knowing how much I love Amy Winehouse singing. They know her story. It is a poignant lesson. I cannot judge her. I am greatly saddened by what happened to her. Such a beautiful being with a beautiful contralto voice, all gone, wasted and fallen. Life is tough. If we are following scripts, I must say that some of us were assigned awful roles. So I can only say that we must have a hand in it. I listen and dance to Amy's songs almost everyday. My favorite is below. Amy is not really a part of the Lesser-Known Dumptys series. First of all she is famous, albeit infamous too.

Thank you for reading. Have a wonderful day.

That's a VERY cool drawing of Amy. I will look up contralto.

I agree with Ted...Its a great drawing...you show us another side to your talent! I loved Amy too and
was sad when she departed so young...I was also sad to think that we were deprived of what she
could have shown us if she had lived on...But I always think that when these geniuses leave the World...Like Elvis,Michael Jackson,Whitney Houston,John Lennon,Jimmy Hendrix ETC ETC (countless others)...Rest In Peace Guys...so much potential lost.

This is not easy to do...but, I am "humbled" when in the presence of great talent(s) as you possess. Then, I remember that we Peeps are NOT the 'achievers'. Rather, we are the 'achievements'. And God wrought a wonderful piece of art when He achieved you, Ces!

To me, this is the best part: you use your gifts to help bring others to a higher level of life experience. If that is not doing "God's will"...what is?

Sometimes I think Amy W has got to be one of the lead singers in the angelic(?) choir...

Gratefully, and admiringly--
Steve

An infamous non-Dumpty indeed! You really captured her look & defiant spirit.

OOOOH!! Amy Egghouse is awesome! I love it. I dunno..backgrounds are super hard for me..though give me my blue-purple combo and I'm awash with that night sky. : ) Heee hee..thank you for your sweet visits today - I am SO proud of you for finishing your rule!!! That is awesome and such hard work. Goodness, I do hope they've stopped ringing your doorbell, Ces. Sheesh! I'm happy my bear and his big huge star gave you some lift today (I hope it did!) ...and goodness, I'm so delayed at listening to Amy's music. I now MUST...thank you for the push! : )
Big hugs, TSUP dear Ces!

Awesome, love it Ces. It's too bad that you aren't close to LA. You could stop by and hear my sister sing. She has a beautiful contralto voice. She sings in clubs and has had several shows for fund raising. I think you would like to hear her sing. I always cry when I hear her sing. I'm silly like that. ;)

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Oh my goodness, you got the hair thing and the eye thing and the mini mini thing going ON, girlfriend. Amy Egghouse once dated Humpty. I read it in People Magazine.

My day is all better now that I have seen this. Tsup!!!

Gosh, is there still a PEOPLE MAGAZINE? Thought it would be named PEEP ZINE by now! Have to check next time at doctor's office, hopefully maybe not until year 2017 or so.....
