Vocal Is Nice But Articulate And Eloquent Are Better

Happy Birthday, Dorcas!!!
I love you.
Tsup!
Tsup!!!

Aries and Ram. 8"x11" on "14x17" Smooth Bristol Board. It was difficult to scan this drawing because of its size. This is a photograph.

I have many friends born under the first sign of the zodiac, Aries, The Ram. Not one of them taciturn. People born under the sign of Aries, The Ram, are usually independent, self-assertive with strong leadership qualities and a desire to make their mark as an individual. They are loyal and generous. They are intellectual and objective but in rare situations may be bigoted, extremists in religion and politics. Hahahahah! (I did not make up that last statement. I read it here.) They are quick witted, expressive, eloquent and articulate.

Ariens are compatible with a couple of zodiac signs but who cares about that as long as they are compatible with Gemini.

To all my Arien friends, Happy Birthday!!! I love you, guys!!! Tsup! Tsup!!!

I'm clumsy and inappropriate, does that count?

Hey Ces, this is a beautiful pen and ink (even though it's not about libras). A confident and well executed composition. I like it very much.

Oh oh oh oh ohhhhhhhh myyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! WOOOOoooooooo! Is it hot in here or is it just me?! DANG, girl. You can DRAW! Hahahaha! Look at all the textures. The grass! Their furry hips! The bark on those trees! Absolute love, that's what this is. I can just imagine them hopping gracefully and lightly from rock to rock. Happy birthday to all the Ariens! TSUP TSUP TSUP!!!

Ces, your question is perfectly reasonable. The square hole is the tomb in which they buried Jesus. The huge round stone is the one with which they sealed the cave, but on Sunday morning it had been mysteriously pushed away, and the tomb was empty. It was a fulfillment of God's covenant promises since the beginning of time. Jesus had risen from the dead and conquered death itself. Happy Easter!

Oh my goodness! Okay. I was so off. I was thinking of star-crossed lovers. Oh gee. What was I thinking? Thank you.

I got myself a Musetek 11x17 scanner for my big prints.

It is not so great at scanning color but does a bang up job on black and white. It was less than a benjamin too. The better Epson scanners can be pricey!

This reminds me of The Great Divorce by CS Lewis for some reason. The pristine hillside populated by mythical creatures.

Dear Ces.
Anybody who attends a few classes in music school can put together a few black-or-white circles (notes) in the order of pleasing sounds called chords. But to be greatly forever remembered and admired, one must have had the perspiring inspiration, plus gifts of form, phrase, sentence and paragraph--TALENT. Add in a huge mix of imagination, willingness to take risks, and above all of those things...persistence.

Anybody can buy some pencils, a ruler, eraser(s), a brush, some paint, attend six weeks of instruction, and draw or paint a picture. But Ces...YOU are the artist with such imagination, such a gift for form--TALENT, that passion which will not let you stop-until-you-drop! You have much to say to the world, SO much to give from your mind, heart--your soul! It is all good, most is outstanding. Anyone who beholds with an eye can never doubt they are in the presence of genius. Sorry, there is no other way to say it. You--and several of your sister-friends are atop millions of Peeps who draw and paint and write pleasantly pleasing enough and beautify the world. The difference is the message carried in your work, that which stirs in the human heart freedom, hope, love, life, and worthiness.

Your work raises us, me, the viewer to aanother level, another phase of living...understanding!
Even so, I continually experience trouble expressing myself, when I comment in your blog.
But THANK YOU, anyway, Ces.
PEACE!
Steve
