I tried to oil paint this year, I failed miserably. I just work... and love those I love. Do you know how love feels? Do you know what love means? You know, I think the word LOVE was a typographical error by some dyslexic scribe who meant to write LIVE. I started an online oak encyclopedia. My sister would have loved this. It is a chance for me to plot and plan what I need to do with this burgeoning collection of nuts.
I have drawn over three hundred Art Card sized acorn/leaf set illustrations so far. I have been studying and reading about oak trees and acorns for more than three years. Here is my working encyclopedia. It is my way of unleashing the nerd within. I have been hiding in there. Maybe it's time to share it. :) I am very excited about the Index Tab. It allows me to organize these hundreds of cards I have in my hands. Check it out. You might learn a thing or two about nuts.
