Light

Aaaaahhhhh! Inspiration. Who inspires you? My family inspires me, people I love, the memory of my parents, my happy childhood, my sisters and brothers, my husband, my children, my best friend. They give me strength, hope, joy, happiness. I want to make them happy. I hope that what I do makes them happy. I am not one of those people who dwell on whether I am achieving my dreams, what I want to do, whether I am fulfilled. I hate those mental exercises. I change often, so I cannot say that have this dream that I need to pursue or else I will feel empty. I am not like that. I always did what I enjoyed the most but I also weigh the feelings of those I love because in the end, you can have everything, but if you have no one to love or no one loves you, you have nothing. Okay where is this going? Ah my mind is fleeting. It's this bad cold I have. Anyway, I love my best friend. She is such an inspiration. I am dedicating this new series I started two days ago to my best friend because she is wonderful. She is the best best friend I ever had, She is good, kind and generous. She makes me happy. I love to tease her sometimes. She gets very serious and she threatens me. She promised not to talk to me again until April 5th, 2015. Can you imagine?! Hah! I will be so sick if she did that.  She is my sisterfriend. She is an inspiration. She is beautiful. She inspires me to imagine. Sometimes when I am out of ideas I just ask myself, "I wonder if she will like this...?" In my mind she does not get to answer my question. I just do it. I love my best friend. Tsup! This is a new series called Light I am dedicating to my best friend. This is my warm up exercise. Let's see where this goes...

Happy Sisterfriend Day!!!

Hahahah! Actually 2 years is very lenient. If I were her, I'd erase me from memory. Especially if it was because of something I was planning to do. Hahahaha!!!

Happy Sisterfriend Day to you too! TSUP! TSUP! TSP!!!

How great to have this deep well of inspiration. I like the way you go about living. It is only by loving that we get the reflected glory of being loved and by giving that we get the most. Hooray for the new series!
Email me sometime when you can spare the time.

What a wonderful source of inspiration! I am inspired by books that I read-- or maybe you could say that the authors of those books inspire me by their ideas and use of language. Among all books, I am inspired the most by the Bible.

"LIGHT" ...as in "...LET THERE BE.."
Ces, it seems like inspiration never leaves you. Just when I gather (from reading your "dissertations") that you're gonna take a siesta, you are RIGHT BACK AT IT..Thank God!
A friend like "she" is does not just happen. I pray I may one day enjoy a connection like you Peeps.

And yes..."Let there be (more) LIGHT!"

Hello dearest Arija! Yes I will, this weekend. I think I have known it all along but sometimes I get sidetracked and think of my selfish needs. In my entire nursing career and after all the tragedies I have witnessed, those who prosper and survive gracefully and those who pass though this world without bitterness are those I have known to have loved and been loved.People who are surrounded by true love seem to be at peace even if they go through hell and adversity and nothing seems right. If they remember that they are loved, they seem to find the right way.

Debbie! I hear you. Yes, oftentimes I read a passage and I tell myself "Oh that is a nice picture!" I love the Bible. I believe in it.

Hehehehe. Siesta! How I wish I can take siestas. You are right. I never stopped drawing or thinking about what to paint or draw while I was sick. It was one of my saving grace, that and being cared for by my family. :)

Delightful source of inspiration.
I really like this image and the one further up in the blog with the night lights. This, for lack of a better word, ‘black out’ style is quite evocative. I hope to see more.
