Has This Ever Happened To You?

You look up and realize the ocean is above you!?

Magnificent!
I love shooting skies, especially cloud scapes . . .
avec dolphins!
That's a mighty little camera.
Nice shot.

Thank you Rick! This one was taken with my little and handy 5 year old 12MP Canon powershot. Photography for Dummies!

No! I never woke up. That was meant: I never
woke up with realization that the ocean was above me.

Although I have slept under those same skies,
in some of those same mountains.
Brevard Music Camp in 1951, 8 weeks, playing violin till
I thought it would break. What a summer! Asheville close enough.
We played concerts each week during that summer (orchestra)
in the lobby of Grove Park Inn, a nice hotel,
seemed like it was all rock...not roll!

ENOUGH for this comment, I did it again. Words, words, words!
Thanks for the memories
TSUP!

Is that the camera you received for working 25 years in one place?
Nice photo. Clouds have always been a favorite of mine and lots of Peeps!

Une photo extraordinaire ma chère Ces! Le ciel nous révèle parfois des formes et des couleurs si merveilleuses. Magnifique... peut-être que cette belle photo va te donner de nouvelles inspirations ?...

I love your memory.
Steve, don't ever stop yourself. You are free here. They are not just words. They are a friend's words and I love reading them and I love to hear more.

Thank you dear Martine Alison. An inspiration, yes. I am always inspired but it's the execution that is problematic. Hahah! Thank you. As Deborah says she knows when I am becoming restless (bored). I change my blog header. Tsup!

Thank you! I am trying to follow your footsteps. You have big strides. Hah! tsup!

Oh yes! That is how I felt when I saw that! it was magnificent. My photo is a lame effort to capture all that moment. Thank you.

I love clouds, sometimes I can look at them for hours. My husband finds it quite strange, although he is generally accustomed to my eccentricities. North Carolina is just a couple of hours from here. One day, while we were driving home from North Carolina, the clouds were especially unusual. They kept rolling and forming new images and the sun was streaming though them so that they were glowing. I watched them the entire way home, sometimes turning my head to keep seeing whatever cloud picture I was seeing at the moment. My husband thought I was totally nuts. He said he'd never seen anyone stare at the sky for so long. After 27 years, I can still make him laugh at my weirdness. ;) LOL
