Tatty Dumpty. No.5 in a Series of A Dozen Eggs Known As The Lesser Known Dumptys.
The Good Egg Photographer Photographing The Good Eggs' Class Photograph For Posterity
8"x10: Archival ink on 11"x14" Bristol Board
In honor of my Father, who was a photographer. I love you Tatay. A friend of mine from childhood and elementary school with whom I reconnected through Facebook left this message for me: "Ces, I came across some old photos of my dad's and guess who the photographer was - your dad! Wow, what a legacy he had left you all." That was so heartwarming for me to read.
This drawing is also in honor of all my friends from elementary, high school, pre-nursing, college and university classmates who have been busy arriving from all over the world to attend the many reunions happening everywhere. Can you believe my elementary school class is planning a reunion in Illinois in the fall?
And one more thing, thank you dearest Bella Sinclair. I've never had so much fun drawing many happy little faces!!!

**squeals of JoY** Did you hear me there in Texas? So much joy that cannot be contained! I am squirming in my chair with delight, examining all these little faces. Oooo, poor Acne Dumpty. I do like Nerdy Dumpty bottom left, leaning in, hands on tiny knees. I must go look again. Please check on me if I have not returned in 20 minutes...I may have fallen out of my chair.
BIG Love! Deb
Do you see me? Heheheh. Hey wait! You called me a nerd? Hahah!
WAIT! I think I know Good Egg, top row on the right. Seriously. I've seen that face before. So this is a Catholic school? I LIKE that Tatty wears his pants high. Can you imagine butt crack on an egg? NOoooooo! You, my Cesalicious, are BRILLIANT! **kisskiss** Deb
HA! YOU are the nerd???
Hahahahah! yes! That's me on the left. My father always positioned me on the left area of my class pictures.
YOU are the nerd??? :( Sorry.
Even in nursing college. I sat on the front row with the faculty on the far left. hehehe.
Thank heavens I did not call you Acne Egg.
Ahhummmmmm. I did note that your legs are not together.
No, I like being a nerd. Hahaha!
That is Tatty's long coat. We wear uniforms in public schools oer there. In fact our class was the first class to wear uniforms in our elementary school. All high schools and private colleges and universities wear uniforms. Only the university of the Philippines does not have school uniforms.
Oh, this is rich.
I love the drawing, and the dedication.
Wonderful!
The left of the photographer when he is facing the class is actually the right side.
AWWWWWWWWW!!!! Ohhhhhhhhh, they are so CUTE! I love all their little faces! Even the scowling ones. The little ones in front, jumbos in the back. But all grade A. This is a truly lovely tribute!
My folks bought me two dozen eggs today. Suddenly I crave omelets.
And now you've got me wondering.... Just how did Humpty get his name?
Gros bisous
Humpty's parents, the Dumptys, were watching their son in an egg-rolling contest. He came in last. Dad said, "Hummmph!". Big brother said, "Hmmmphy!" As the 'son-of-an-egg' rolled to a stop at his mother's feet, she uttered aloud an exclamation, "HUMPTY!". And that is how H Dumpty
was named,
baptized,
cracked,
and finally fried.
His shell remains intact
in the SCRAMBLE ROOM
at the EGG HALL of FAME....
Humpty tasted real good with Bella's toast.
