2011 was a period of punctuated equilibrium.
Here's to 2012.

These are the last acorns and leaves I will be drawing for 2011:
L to R above and below: Quercus glaucoides (Lacey Oak), Quercus nigra (Water Oak), Quercus arkansana (Arkansas Oak)
Quercus chapmanii (Chapman Oak) in progress...
(Oops! I lied about the acorns. I have drawn nine more, last night and still drawing...)
See you next year!!!
Tsup!

A few hours to finish the Quercus chapmanii (Chapman Oak) before BELLS RING!
ReplyDeleteLooking for my nuts, I found them in the mailbox today.
T H A N K Y O U !
They are BEE-U-TEE-FULL...I LOVE them, Ces. Tomorrow I pick up LINDOL (The fishing-girl) framed, and I'll order precut double mat from Artarama for the nine acorns.
I don't recall being so well gifted by someone who doesn't know me--EVER!
Your New Year message: AWESOME! I'm following you right into 2012 with my 178-word comments.
Your "Tribute to Snow" (Snowscape) up top made me shiver with memory of one snowy night, 2 AM, in the moonlight's reflection on the snow-covered hills, searching for our cows that broke through a fence. They were roaming into other farmers' compounds--and then we discovered all the horses were missing...
Next day, my 4th grade teacher Sr Rose Gertrude, wondered why I fell asleep in class! (sigh!)
Thanks for another FUN journey through art pieces of the past and present --by Ces!
PEACE!
Amen to that!
ReplyDeleteI actually wonder it you will still sneak in an acorn or two before the midnight bells . . .
Thank you my lovely for another year of wonderful pictures and love.
May the coming Year be an even more fruitful one and resolve all the issues of the heart.
Love, kisses, hugs and blessings . . . Arija
I'll settle for health, good friends, and maybe a little more peace in the world.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Ces.
