Arbor Day

Two things: Either my eyesight is getting bad or my new camera is bad. Hmn. which one is it? Arbor Day is celebrated on the last Friday of the month. This is the work I have been trying to do for the past week. Not surprisingly it's about trees.

P.S. I have been working a lot of hours because of projects. So I thought I'd cheer myself up with this song:

  3. oooOOOOOooo! Very cool! I even like the unfinished look. Is this the one you've been calling your forest floor?

I'd love to be able to play that opening piano riff!

  5. I've absolutely no doubt at all that you'll survive, Ces. You are just too singular and amazing and beautiful and gifted not to!

Gawd, that is superb - the detail quite astonishing. Slow, you say? SLOW! It would take me several decades to do something as extraordinary as your forest floor.

Happy Arbor Day - not that I know what it means, but I want you to have a happy one.

  6. I am so not worthy. I love the forest floor. Happy Arbor Day. I gave a tree a cozy for Earth Day, seems even more appropriate now. I blogged about it if you want to take a look. http://leslieblairgallagher.blogspot.com

I am always cheered by a visit to your blog, thanks. So glad I found it.

  10. Tessa, Arbor Day is the day we plant trees or celebrate trees! So it's my favorite of days. Thanks. At the rate I am going it may take me decades too... :)

  11. Fete et Fleur, aw! You are so sweet. You don't even know me. Thank you.

Baino, that's the p[roblem. the camera looks focused to me and then it's blurred. I used to be very good with cameras. My left eye is blurred, it feels like I just woke up, maybe I did.

  12. Wow, beautiful tree pictures, even unfinished. I can't wait too long to see the end result. We planted 6 shrubs today. Will that do? Mini-arbor day!

    Great song. I did.
